  This two-hour guided tour of picturesque Damariscotta Harbor is perfect for people with little time who want a taste of sea kayaking. These tours depart three times daily from the Town Landings in Damariscotta and Wiscasset. After some basic paddling and safety instruction from your Registered Maine Guide, you'll head out at a leisurely pace past cruising yachts, working craft and stately homes. You'll even see historic oyster middens as we paddle Great Salt Bay. You will surely agree that sea kayaking offers an exciting new perspective of the marine landscape.

Price: $35 (includes all necessary equipment)
Kids 12 and under must paddle in a double with an adult

  Damariscotta River or Great Salt Bay
Explore the working fishing communities, sheltered coves and picturesque islands of the Damariscotta River or The Great Salt Bay. You'll feel as if you have paddled back in time as we journey through this area's rich and vibrant village and sea bird colonies. This 3-hour tour departs twice a day from docks at Town Landings in Damariscotta and Wiscasset.

Price: $50 (includes all necessary equipment)
Kids under 12 must paddle in a double with an adult

  Damariscotta to East Boothbay
This popular four-hour guided tour allows participants more time to get a true feel for traveling by sea kayak. We depart from either Damariscotta or East Boothbay, one of the most picturesque harbors in New England, following the gentle sea breeze and tides to our destination while paddling along some of the most scenic shoreline on the coast of Maine.

The Sasanoa River Trek
Tideway will put you on the water in the Sasanoa River, near Bath, which is about 40 miles east of Portland. You'll travel about 12 miles through Upper Hells Gate, but don't let the name fool you. You'll love it as we travel back in time, over Hockomuck and Montsweag bays, through the Consweag Narrows and into Wiscasset, "the prettiest town in Maine."

Wiscasset to Boothbay
This popular four-hour guided tour allows participants more time to get a true feel for traveling by sea kayak. We depart from either Damariscotta or East Boothbay, one of the most picturesque harbors in New England, following the gentle sea breeze and tides to our destination while paddling along some of the most scenic shoreline on the coast of Maine.

Price: $75 (includes lunch & all necessary equipment)
Minimum Age: 13 (age 12 and under must paddle in a double with an adult)
Dates & Times: Daily (9am-1pm) from May 20 to Sept. 24

For those with a bit more time and thirst for adventure, our Day on the Bay Tour is your best choice. You'll spend a full day exploring Damariscotta River by sea kayak. Your Maine Guide will choose his or her favorite destination for a day of paddling among the islands and wildlife of the area. You might see ospreys nesting on a day marker, seals sunning themselves on a rocky ledge, or oyster harvesters tending their gear as we paddle to a picnic lunch at Dodge Point Reserve. Our exact itinerary is determined by weather, tides, and the experience level of the group.

Minimum Age: 14
Dates & Times: Every Tuesday and Thursday (9:30 to 5:30)
